Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking a Surgical Technology Instructor - Adjunct Faculty to teach at the Hennepin/Anoka campus. This part-time role supports the Surgical Technology program, with opportunities to stay connected to clinical practice while entering academia.

Training is provided and you will report to an Academic Dean. Responsibilities include communicating with students, offering feedback, and coordinating with university staff to ensure learning objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology required.
• Active CST or CST/CSFA certification required.
• 2+ years operating room experience or teaching experience in the past 5 years.
• Must provide official transcripts from accredited institution before teaching.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with students and provide feedback on performance.
• Be available to students via phone or email for questions and academic assistance.
• Coordinate with Dean/University staff regarding accreditation needs.
• Attend faculty meetings and contribute to program development.
