Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Mansfield is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Mansfield, TX. The role requires scrubbing for surgical cases, maintaining sterile fields, and preparing supplies and equipment for procedures.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong knowledge of surgical procedures.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient.
• Excel in teamwork and strong communication with staff, patients, and physicians.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
