Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star in Frisco, TX seeks a Lead Surgical Technologist to scrub and support the surgical team across orthopedics, total joints and spine procedures.

The role emphasizes sterile field maintenance, supplies prep, collaboration with physicians and staff, and participation in quality improvement. Weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, nights or calls.

Qualifications

• Completion of Surgical Technician program or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical centers is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their application.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures and participate as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgeries.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Support quality improvement activities and center goals.
