Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Centennial is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery team. The role emphasizes weekday coverage with no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call requirements, supporting a high-quality surgical program.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and surgical technician training, with state certification as applicable and preference for prior ambulatory center experience. Strong teamwork and aseptic technique are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
• Teamwork and strong communication with staff, patients, and physicians

Responsibilities

• Support surgical team with procedures and instrument handling
• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Education
