Job summary

Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to prepare, organize, and monitor the sterile field under the supervision of the surgeon and registered nurse for scheduled surgical cases. You will assist the team as directed to ensure safe patient care and optimal operative flow.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and requires graduation from a surgical technologist program with preferred AST certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (Cert, GED, Trn, Exper).
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries.
• Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.
