Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the sterile field and assist the surgical team in assigned cases. This role ensures aseptic technique and timely instrument handling to facilitate procedures.

You will work under the direction of surgeons and registered nurses, maintain sterility, and prepare instruments and supplies for operations. Prior OR experience and BLS certification are preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• High School, Certification, GED, training or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program preferred; AST certification or 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize and monitor sterile field under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries.
• Provide assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.
