Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services in the United States is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist during surgical procedures across all age groups, ensuring patient care and safety.

You will scrub, gown, glove, drape, and participate in briefings, verify sites, document supplies and specimens, and support a collaborative surgical team.

Full-time with rotating shifts and on-call duties; must adhere to protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification or eligible under applicable laws.
• Graduation from a specialty training program.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment, following safety and procedural standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist in coordinating treatments and provide basic patient support.
• Connect patients to clinical equipment and practice aseptic techniques (scrubbing, gowning, gloving, draping).
• Participate in surgical briefings, verify surgical site, and document supplies and specimens.
• Handle wound care, maintain universal precautions, and initiate emergency procedures.
• Support admissions/discharges, billing, and manage specimen collection and post-mortem care.
• Serve as a preceptor for students, follow policies, perform quality control, and ensure proper medication labeling.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating treatments and provides basic patient support.
• Connects patients to clinical equipment and practices aseptic techniques, including scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and draping.
• Participates in surgical briefings, verifies surgical site, and maintains accurate supply and specimen documentation.
• Handles wound care, maintains universal precautions, and initiates emergency procedures.
• Supports patient admission/discharge, performs billing, and manages specimen collection and post-mortem care.
• Acts as a preceptor for students, adheres to policies, performs quality control, and ensures proper medication labeling.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible under applicable laws.
• Graduation from a specialty training program.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment, following all safety and procedural standards.
