Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgeons in the operating room, ensuring aseptic techniques and patient safety.

Responsibilities include preparing the OR, verifying surgical sites, handling specimens, assisting with wound care, and on-call duties with a 30-minute response time. Qualifications

Role Overview:

A Surgical Technologist assists surgeons during procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques, proper instrument handling, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Support surgical teams by preparing the operating room, verifying surgical sites, managing supplies, handling specimens, and maintaining sterile environments. Participate in surgical briefings, assist with wound care, and perform additional duties such as patient transport and post-mortem care. Ensure compliance with policies, perform quality control, and act as a preceptor for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible under relevant laws. Graduate from a specialty training program. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, equipment, and surgical procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow protocols, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Work Environment & Additional Duties:

Typically performed in a clinical setting with on-call responsibilities, including responding within 30 minutes. Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
