Zusammenfassung

Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio is seeking a direct hire Surgical Technologist to support our Surgical Services team in the Operating Room and Endoscopy settings. You will prepare rooms, scrub and pass instrument sets, and maintain sterile technique to ensure patient safety during invasive procedures under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and surgical staff.

Experience with instrument counts, specimen handling, and room turnover is valued; on-call rotation is part of the role and full-time

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
• CST certification and professional membership preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification desirable.

Aufgaben

• Prepares operating rooms with instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment for each procedure.
• Scrubs, gowns, and gloved the surgeon and assistants; passes instruments during surgery.
• Maintains sterile technique and ensures patient safety throughout invasive procedures.
• Performs counts with the circulator and assists with specimen handling and room turnover.
• Assists with patient transfers and supports post-procedure care as needed.
