Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a Surgical Technologist (PRN) to join our operating room team in Cleveland, OH. The role involves preparing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting surgeons and nurses throughout perioperative care.

Under supervision of physicians and/or a registered nurse, you will ensure proper patient setup, instrument counts, and post-operative room turnover, while supporting patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Certification preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program; or completed appropriate training.
• Must be certified to perform CPR.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions before operations.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures and ensure sterile setup.
• Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile equipment for use.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with positioning and drapes.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assistants; count sponges and supplies.
• Help transfer patients to recovery and restock the operating room after procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
