Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CPR certification required with 0–2 years clinical experience.
• Experience in Orthopedic scopes and Neuro Surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and prep.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensures proper function.
• Gets patients ready for surgery and assists with positioning.
• Monitors vital signs and supports the surgical team with gowns and gloves.
• Passes instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants.
• Handles specimens, dressings, and post-operative cleanup.
