Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Technologist to scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and support the surgical team. The role involves preparing supplies and equipment and contributing to quality improvement in a busy ambulatory center.

The position requires a Surgical Technician program completion or equivalent, and prior ambulatory center experience is preferred. Strong teamwork and communication with physicians and staff are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED with Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excel in teamwork and possess strong communication with staff and physicians.

Responsabilidades

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrate competence as part of the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Support and participate in quality improvement activities.
