USPI New Mexico Surgery Center - Orthopaedics is seeking a Surgical Technologist for full-time roles in Albuquerque. The position emphasizes aseptic technique, instrument handling, and readiness of supplies for planned procedures. No weekends or on-call requirements, with paid holidays.

The Surgical Technologist will support operating room efficiency, assist surgeons, and help maintain sterile environments while documenting care and coordinating room turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience following aseptic technique per approved procedures.
• Ability to assemble supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain instrument cards and physician preference cards.
• Document patient-care records according to policy.
• Ensure instrument function and room readiness to avoid delays.

Responsibilities

• Performs specified functions to meet the requirements of each approved procedure.
• Assembles supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures according to physicians’ preference cards.
• Inspects equipment for proper working condition.
• Follows aseptic technique and operating room procedures.
• Maintains availability of instruments and supplies to avoid delays.
• Documents patient-care records and status updates.
• Assists with room turnover and setup for subsequent cases.
