Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the surgery center team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, applying critical thinking and creativity in patient care.

This casual position operates M-F during the day with rotating start times. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, retirement programs, tuition reimbursement, and more!

Qualifications

• Must obtain CST or NCCT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Valid CPR skills and knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures are preferred.

Work Schedule

casual position - M-F days, rotating start times from 6a-9a

Required Qualifications

• Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs: CST (https://nbstsa.org/examinations-cst.html) or NCCT (https://www.ncctinc.com/General/VerifyCertification.aspx) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently validated CPR skills preferred.
• Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
