Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to ensure sterile technique in the operating room and sterile processing. You will assist in instrument setup, provide supplies, and support the surgical team throughout procedures.

The role requires 1+ year OR experience, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training, with a Day shift in a Full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provides and maintains a safe physical environment in the operating room and sterile processing.
• Assists in assembly, set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of the sterile field.
• Supports the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies.
• Participates in care of the surgical patient and collaborates with the team.
• Adheres to department and hospital policies and regulatory standards.
