Job summary

Northeast-Atlanta-Vascular-Care is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams under surgeon and nurse supervision. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, setup of sterile fields, assisting with patient positioning, and instrument handling.

The role requires CPR certification within 90 days and prefers 1 year of interventional radiology or vascular lab experience. Knowledge of over-the-wire techniques is a plus.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
• Minimum one year experience in interventional radiology, cardiac cath lab, or vascular preferred
• Knowledge of over the wire experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures
• Set up instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions before operations
• Prepare patient skin and equipment pre-operation
• Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile equipment
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with position and drapes
• Assist team by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field
• Transfer patients to recovery and restock the OR after operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
