Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the OR team in Atlanta. You will prepare patients, set up sterile fields, pass instruments, and maintain aseptic technique during procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with various surgical tasks, ensuring supplies are ready, and aiding in rapid turnover between cases. High school diploma and BLS are required; CST preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or post‑secondary education.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program with experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Must hold American Heart Association BLS credential.

Responsibilities

• Assists the surgical team before, during, and after procedures.
• Reviews supplies and equipment; sets up surgical equipment.
• Maintains sterile technique and assists with instrument passing and counts.
• Transports patients, specimens, and equipment as needed.
• May serve in first or second scrub role and support turnover of cases.
