Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the CVOR to join our operating room team on the day shift. This role supports scrub duties under RN direction, handles instrumentation and specimen preparation, and serves patients from infancy to elder care while complying with safety goals.

Candidates must have surgical technology certification and complete formal program; prior vascular or cardiovascular scrub experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification in surgical technology.
• High school graduate or certified equivalent; Graduate of a formal surgical technology program; Certification in Surgical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Functions in a scrub role in the Operating Rooms and assumes other duties as assigned.
• Monitors and maintains integrity of sterile field and assists in room monitoring of equipment.
• Contributes to productivity by expediting safe turnover of cases and proper charging of supplies.
• Performs routine tasks to support general daily clean up of rooms, workroom, and central core.
