Qualifications

• Associates degree or approved equivalent in Surgical Technology.
• Surgical Technology certificate or equivalent requirement.
• Experience in lieu of formal education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Applies aseptic principles to maintain sterility and patient safety.
• Assists in organizing supplies and equipment for efficient operations.
• Maintains a safe environment and adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
• Handles equipment charges and room turnover responsibilities.
• Performs sterilization and disinfection per policy.
• Scrubs and supports medical students and residents during procedures.
