Virtua Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating rooms, ensuring sterile technique and efficient instrument handling throughout procedures. You will collaborate with RN and surgical teams to maintain patient safety and workflow.

The role requires one year of OR experience, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, and BLS certification; NJ licensure/CEs are noted as part of ongoing professional requirements.

Competenze

• One year OR training or experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
• BLS training/certification; Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• NJ state license/CEs: 15 CEs per year.

Mansioni

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets up and assists during surgical procedures and supports nursing/other departments by transporting patients as needed.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
