Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team by preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures, and by assisting staff during turnover.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and either a program-graduated technologist with 1 year of experience or 3 years of recent OR work. Color vision screening may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or post-secondary education.
• BLS certification required.
• Color vision screening as applicable to unit.
• Graduate of accredited surgical technology program with 1 year of experience.
• Or 3 years of full-time OR experience in the last 7 years.

Responsabilités

• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Assist staff to ensure patient safety and quality of care during turnover.
• Work across multiple surgical service lines and patient age ranges.
