Qualifications

• Must hold American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Color vision screening as required by unit.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with 1 year of OR experience.
• Three years of full-time OR experience in the last seven years as a Surgical Technologist (OR requirement).
• Preferred: CST or TS-C certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff during procedures and turnover.
• Work across multiple surgical service lines and with neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
