Job summary

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program, with BLS certification and color vision screening, and may have 1 year of surgical technologist experience or 3 years in an operating room.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or post-secondary education required.
• BLS through American Heart Association required.
• Visual color acuity screening may be required for certain units.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with 1 year of surgical technologist experience or 3 years in an operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures by handling instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Support patient safety and quality of care through technical assistance to surgical staff.
