Job summary

Qualifications include CST certification, current BLS, and 3-5 years of CST/OR experience, plus knowledge of instrumentation and sterile

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 3-5 years CST/OR experience required.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile processing principles, and operating room workflows.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing departmental needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• providing lunch and break relief
• filling staffing gaps as assigned
• assisting with surgical instrument counts
• preparing and restocking operating rooms
• supporting room turnover activities
• ensuring proper disposal of trash, linen, biohazardous waste, and sharps in accordance with OSHA, infection prevention, and facility policies.
