Job summary

Essentia Health's St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. This 0.9 FTE position covers day, evening, and night shifts on a rotating schedule with weekend and holiday commitments.

Under RN supervision you will manage instrumentation, equipment and supplies for complex cases, with opportunities for relocation assistance and professional growth within a collaborative, physician-led department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interventions in the operating room under RN supervision.
• Manage instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies for procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
