Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all processes related to direct patient care and assistance in the OR.
• Establishes and maintains sterile field; passes instruments; assists physician as directed.
• Cares for pre-operative patients and transports to the OR as needed.
• Demonstrates competency in use and care of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Adheres to Universal Barrier Precautions and OR sanitation policies.
