Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent work experience as surgical technologist for a period of at least 2+ years.
• Maintains current CPR certification.
• CST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Function as the scrub person during operative procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room.
• Check all instruments to ensure proper working order.
• Maintain a count of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
