Job summary

Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. You will assist in sterile scrub duties and support the circulating RN throughout procedures, ensuring aseptic technique and patient safety.

The role requires graduation from a Surgical Technology program or equivalent, and active CST certification with Virginia licensure. Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technology Program graduate, or equivalent training (required).
• Certified Surgical Technologist and Virginia licensure (required).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile surgical field using aseptic technique and anatomical knowledge.
• Assist circulating RN with OR setup, equipment, patient positioning and instrument table breakdown.
• Perform supply management duties.
