Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will scrub in for procedures and coordinate with the surgical staff to maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout the operation.

Responsibilities include assisting with room turnovers, preparing case carts, and supporting pre-operative briefings and timeouts to ensure efficient, safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Surgical Technologist Certificate required at hire.
• Ability to follow instruction and maintain sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the scrub role during surgical procedures and coordinates with OR professionals.
• Maintains sterile technique and ensures patient safety intra-operatively.
• Supports room turnovers and prepares case carts & supplies.
• Performs intra-operative timeouts and assists with pre-operative briefings.
