Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join its operating room team. This role supports the Health Care Team and the Labor Management Partnership principles, delivering high quality care and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

You scrub for a variety of procedures, assist with setup and instrument handling, maintain sterile technique, and coordinate with circulators and nurses to promote efficient room turnover and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Surgical Technologist Certificate required at hire.
• Knowledge of sterile core area and procedure protocols.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in during surgical procedures and coordinate with OR staff.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout operations.
• Assist with setup, instrument handling and room turnovers.
• Communicate effectively with patient, family and care team.
