Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children''s Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to function as scrub technologist, set up sterile tables, and pass instruments to the surgeon while maintaining sterility. You may also assist in circulating duties under RN supervision and participate in case carts and turnover teams to meet OR efficiency goals.

Required qualifications include graduation from a surgical technology program, Washington Surgical Technologist Registration, and BLS from

Qualifications

• Graduate of a course in surgical technology.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Current experience as a registered Surgical Technologist. Recent completion of an accredited surgical technologist program may be considered as current experience.

Responsibilities

• Scrub technologist in the surgical suite: set up sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment, and pass instruments to the surgeon during procedures.
• Assist in circulating duties under the supervision of the RN and participate in case carts, turnover, and service line roles to support OR efficiency.
