OrthoNY, LLP. is hiring a Surgical Technologist in New York. The full-time position supports the operating room team with preparation, scrubbing, and instrument availability to ensure patient care workflows run smoothly.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with surgical tech certification or NYS LPN license. New grads are welcome and opportunities for growth exist within our orthopedic specialty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Surgical Technologist certification required or unrestricted NYS LPN License.
• Ability to scrub all types of cases.
• Effective communication with providers, patients and peers.

Responsabilités

• Assist in opening the operating room (OR) and preparation for assigned cases.
• Scrub on surgical procedures as assigned.
• Anticipate physician needs and ensure equipment, gases and supplies are readily available.
• Identify and correct technique issues as required.
• Prepare for next-day cases and maintain OR supplies and stock.
• Perform other duties as needed.
