Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling Surgical Techs to work onsite within Spokane, WA. The role entails preparing sterile setups, passing instruments to surgeons, and maintaining sterile technique under RN supervision. Multiple openings with varied shifts and potential relocation assistance are available.

The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates, plus a comprehensive benefits package beginning on the first day of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a course in Surgical Technology.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Current experience as a registered Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Function as the scrub technologist in the surgical suite and assist in circulating duties as assigned.
• Assist in passing instruments to the surgeon during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies and equipment; care for instruments post-procedure.
