Providence St. Joseph Health is calling Surgical Techs to work onsite in Spokane, WA. This position has multiple openings with varied shifts, hours and schedules.
Responsible to function as the "scrub technologist" in the surgical suite and other clinical areas. Tasks include selection and set‑up of the sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment; passing instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; maintaining sterile technique and caring for instruments following the procedure. Surgical Technologists may also be assigned to case carts, turnover team, and service line surgical technologist roles. Under the supervision of an RN, the Surgical Technologist will assist in circulating duties as assigned and assume the defined role of surgical tech, case cart surgical tech or turnover team member to meet key performance indicators for efficient flow of patients through the OR.
$20,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment (in addition to the standard benefits and compensation package offered by Providence starting on the first day of employment). Possible relocation package assistance is available. Base pay range: $29.39 – $45.66 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
