Job summary

Newporthospitalandhealth is looking for a Surgical Technologist to assist in surgical procedures, maintaining a safe environment, and ensuring all supplies are sterile and prepared for use. Candidates will be responsible for monitoring and cleaning surgical instruments and participating in improvements of departmental processes.

The role requires certification and allows for growth in a supportive environment, committed to diversity and inclusion. Candidates with one year of experience in the operating room are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current BCLS Certification.
• Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) by NBSTSA.
• Minimum of one year experience in operating room.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeon during operations.
• Prepares operating room and instruments.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort.
