Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Erie County is seeking a Surgical Technologist who will assist in surgical procedures and ensure the operating suite is ready for interventions. Candidates must have at least a one-year certificate or equivalent experience, with preferred experience of 1-3 years.

This position also requires certification in CPR within 60 days of hire. A sign-on bonus is being offered for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Surgical Technology or equivalent experience required.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• 1-3 years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the surgical operating suite with instruments and supplies.
• Utilize aseptic techniques and proper medication handling.
• Participate in surgical pause for patient safety.
