Job summary

Abrazo Health Network in Goodyear, AZ seeks a Surgical Technologist for part-time day shifts. The role supports the surgical team with sterile technique, instrument handling, and room preparation. On-call within 30 minutes of the facility is required.

Minimum education includes a Surgical Tech certification; CPR and 2 years hospital OR experience are preferred. Excellent customer service and basic computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Surgical Tech certification preferred.
• Two years of hospital surgical experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intra-operative support as primary scrub person during surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist team with instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Prepare operating rooms and participate in CQI activities; on-call within 30 minutes of facility.
