Job summary

Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the Surgery Room team. You will assist in patient care, prepare and manage instruments, and collaborate with RNs to support safe, efficient operations.

The role requires graduation from a Surgical Technology program and BCLS certification, with certification in a specialty area preferred. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with call rotation evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program.
• BCLS certification required; specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality patient care, safety and advocacy under RN supervision.
• Manage instruments, equipment and supplies accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with team, coworkers and patients.
• Demonstrate personal initiative for growth and performance.
• Demonstrate cost containment activities for instruments and inventory.
