Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Surgical Technician to join our surgical services team in Milledgeville. The position runs 7a-3p, totaling 40 hours per week with a call requirement for coverage needs.

Responsibilities include pre/post-op patient care, managing cardiac monitoring electrodes, patient transfers, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment per unit standards. Must have Surgical Technology certification and a related program credential.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. Completion of Surgical Technology program is required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology is required.
• Work Experience: One year experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Pre and post-op patient care per CGHS/unit standards.
• Placement of electrodes for cardiac monitoring.
• Patient transfer and positioning.
• Maintains clean, safe patient environment and handles body fluids properly.
