Job summary

Intermountain Health in Wheat Ridge, CO is hiring a Surgical Technologist for Night shift (Mon-Thu). The role supports operating room teams, maintains sterile fields, and assists during procedures. Pathway opportunities exist to advance to Level II or III with increasing responsibilities. Colorado licensure and BLS are required.

Full-time position with 40 hours/week, located in Lutheran Medical Center’s operating rooms. Competitive pay ranges by level and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT).
• For Level II/III: additional requirements include competency in multiple procedures and ability to take call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and environment throughout procedures.
• Prepare room and instruments for each surgery.
• Assist surgical staff during procedures within scope of practice.
• Post-procedure cleaning of room and preparation for next case.
• Identify emergencies and respond per safety protocols.
• Assist with sterile processing as needed.
• Ensure all surgical items meet sterilization criteria.
