Responsibilities

• Ensures room and all surgical items meet sterilization criteria.
• Maintains sterile field and safe environment.
• Assists with sterile processing and prepares room for procedures.
• Assists surgical staff during procedures within scope of practice.
• Cleans room and prepares for next procedure after surgery.
