Qualifications

• Education: High-School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Surgical Technology certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Non-licensed/certified candidates may be considered depending on location.
• Must understand English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team.
• Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.
