Mercy Ada is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support our surgeons and sterile teams in a fast-paced operating room. You will prepare instruments, maintain sterile technique, anticipate surgeon needs, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
• Ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
• Assist with surgical procedures while maintaining strict aseptic technique.
• Prepare instruments for sterilization and support efficient room turnover.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report repair needs promptly.
• Assist with inventory management, room restocking, and preparation for upcoming cases.
• Support department efficiency while maintaining Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.
