Mercy Ada is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team in Ada, Oklahoma. You will prepare instruments, maintain sterile technique, anticipate surgeon needs, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma or GED, BLS, and Surgical Technology certification; experience is preferred. Mercy Ada emphasizes patient rights, confidentiality, and compassionate care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• English communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Preferred completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Surgical Technologist certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields.
• Anticipate needs of surgeons and the team during procedures.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are available and functioning.
• Assist with surgical procedures while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Prepare instruments for sterilization and support room turnover.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and team members.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report repairs promptly.
• Assist with inventory management and upcoming case prep.
• Support department efficiency while upholding Mercy standards.
