Mercy Ada in Ada, Oklahoma seeks a Surgical Technologist to support our operating room team. You will prepare sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs, and maintain aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and efficient case turnover.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and nurses, prep instruments for sterilization, troubleshoot equipment, and help manage supplies while upholding Mercy's mission and service standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Profile Summary

Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. As a Surgical Technologist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring procedures run smoothly by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, anticipating surgeon needs, and supporting excellent patient outcomes. Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Surgical Technologist certification
• Previous Surgical Technologist experience

Non-certified candidates with applicable experience may be considered.
