Job summary

Miami Surgical Center in Miami, FL is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in operating room procedures under supervision of surgeons and registered nurses. You will prepare and maintain equipment, set up sterile instruments, and help ensure patient safety throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative steps.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program and CPR certification with 0-2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up operating room with instruments, drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Assists during pre-operation and patient skin prep.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensures proper function.
• Assists surgical team by passing instruments and supplies.
• Transports patients and helps position on the operating table.
• Observes vital signs and assists with sterile gowning and gloving.
• Cleans and restocks the operating room after procedures.
