Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a collaborative obstetric team dedicated to safe newborn care and high standards. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during procedures, and ensure the sterile field with attention to privacy and patient comfort.

This role offers access to mentorship, clinical education courses, and pathways for growth, with on-call support and opportunities to advance in obstetric surgery while helping

Qualifications

• CST certification required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
