HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist (CST) for PRN hours. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist with obstetric procedures, maintain sterile technique, and support the neonatal team to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• CST certification and licensure required.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruments and hands-on support during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and perform counts.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient-centered care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures


• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety


• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures


• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly


• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist


• Labor & Delivery experience required


• Vocational School Graduate
