Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to support OR procedures and maintain sterile technique within a fast-paced ambulatory setting in Gainesville, GA.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of Surgical Technologist training, and at least two years of operating room experience. ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred. Excellent teamwork and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course required.
• Two years operating room experience required.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Training program for surgical technology in the armed forces, National Guard, or US Public Health Services required.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room preparation for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
