Position Summary / Department Summary

We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the team within our Operating Room at Needham.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing sterile instruments to surgical teams during surgery.
• Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
• Collecting and removing contaminated items at completion of cases.
• Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies.
• Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.
• Working 10‑hour shifts with short‑call requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience:

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

License/Certifications

• A certificate from a Surgical Technologist program or individuals employed as surgical technologists in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013, or individuals who have completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.

Sign‑on bonus of $10,000 for full‑time hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years).
